Data Deletion Policy
You have the right to request deletion of your account and associated personal data from RE.bible. We provide simple options for deleting your data at any time.
How to Request Data & Account Deletion
Option 1: In the App
- Open RE.bible and navigate to ⚙️ Settings → Display & Reading (or Account).
- Under Data Backup & Storage, tap Delete All Local Data & Account.
- Confirm your choice to permanently purge your local highlights, bookmarks, notes, and preferences.
Option 2: By Email Request
- Send an email to digitalshivam228@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
- Include the email address or device ID linked to your RE.bible account.
- We may ask you to verify your ownership of the account before processing the request.
What Will Be Deleted
- Your user profile, sign-in details, and email preferences.
- All bookmarks, verse highlights, personal notes, and prayer journal entries saved to your account.
- All associated preferences and app setting configurations stored on our servers.
What May Be Retained
- Information we are legally required to retain to comply with legal obligations, tax laws, or dispute resolutions.
- Fully anonymized or aggregated analytics metrics that cannot be linked back to your identity.
- Automated database backups, which are overwritten and purged within 30 days.
Processing Timeline
We aim to process email deletion requests within 30 days. Once completed, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Third-Party Data
Data processed independently by third-party infrastructure (such as Google Analytics or Google AdMob) is subject to Google's privacy management tools. You can view and manage your Google account data at myaccount.google.com.
Deleting Data Without Account Deletion
You can clear individual notes, bookmarks, and verse highlights inside the App at any time without deleting your account. Uninstalling the app also clears local browser storage on your device.
